I almost wrote this blog from the high horse of having it all figured out — but then realized I’ve been doing the same thing I’m warning you about. Pretending to care less. Holding back. Acting chill.

The truth is: You can’t teach what you don’t live.

And if we’re honest, this whole cool act? It’s costing us connection — the very thing we crave most.

I’m talking about deep, dark, soul-crushing betrayal.

My dad, Bob Morris, invented “cool.” If you ever met him, you know exactly what I mean. He rarely got excited or emotional in any way because he was just too cool.

There are times when I was feeling guilty for hitting the pause. However, I've come to realize that this is the part I don't want to miss. This is when the real magic happens.
